Why do my parents yell at me for not fucking cleaning my room like I could be out doing crystal fucking meth and banging 7 people at once but all I do is run a blog, watch movies, eat food, use the bathroom and occasionally ask them to drive me somewhere I’m not that hard to care for.

i’m not sure tbh! i sort of like the idea of them all being humans because i feel like species might have different concepts of religion/gods and that could be either interesting or too much to explore ahh
Well it certainly doesn’t all have to be decided right away. Though I do like the idea of a physical difference between the believers and their gods. So I kinda am leaning towards all humans as well.
Do you have a skype we could talk over? I’m heading off to bed but I’d really like to talk some more about this.
I was kind of hoping I could play Vriska if possible.
Oh we could have three separate ways then.
- World Manipulation - Influencing the world from the Pantheon. Utilized through various forms of divination style techniques the influence full groups of people/the world in respect to their world.
- Broad Range Manipulation - Taking on a physical body (Humanoid (or Troll) form) to Influence the people through direct and verbal contact.
- Personal Manipulation - Taking on a physical (Animal form) to guide their champion through direct personal contact and guidance.
Or something along those lines.
Should we do it where the Pantheon is composed of the Alpha (post scratch) trolls and the Beta kids and then their champions could be the Alphas and the Dancestors?
i would say personal and broad range could coincide some, though
i was thinking it would be just karkat + co so that there would be no aspect/class repetitions

That’d make a lot of sense as well. Will we have a defined way for interaction between Gods and Mortals? I read a fic similar to this where they interacted with the world by talking to and visiting their “champions” and through the use of a sort of divination. But it makes sense that we should have set rules about contact less we get somebody who decides to Zeus it up and impregnate all the characters.
i’m not sure! i think divination would work but i’m also thinking some sort of physical manifestation would be good - probably unable to use all their godly powers on the material plane but still more powerful than the average human or s/t

Hmmm… A few can be fairly predictable but yeah a lot of the others can go quite a few ways. Like Nepeta could be the goddess of nature, or go with an Artemis styled Goddess of the Hunt. What would be pretty cool would be the “Patron Trolls” being more along the lines of actual Patron gods, with their respective kids being “Champions” of a sort.
yeah - i mean i imagine they’d be chiefly in charge of things related to their aspect (nepeta would maybe chiefly deal with issues of self and spirituality, also being a nature goddess; karkat could deal with friendship and familial relations in addition to maybe strategy or something)
